As a Davidson fan, I am thoroughly impressed with Griffin. He's clearly worlds more physically gifted than anyone Davidson could throw out there, but he's also got a very, very high bball IQ.

There's not much he hasn't done tonight against a smaller but still very tough Davidson front line.

btw, Curry is having an off-night, and he still has nearly 40 against a top-15 team. If our big men had hit some FTs and Curry had made a couple more shots earlier in the game, this could easily have gone down to the wire.

Can a career high really be called an off night?

Edit: Shulman just called it an off night, too

Curry just pulled a 3 out of his rear....to pull within 3 with just under a minute to go. Griffin was defending him at the time....crazy.

And Fraschilla just called it like it is: Davidson is hanging in there while not playing very well overall.

ballgame. tough game for the cats.

Curry's probably gonna shoot those types of percentages throughout the season because people are going to make him tough shots every night.

He's a much better shooter than that, but when you have limited options, the horse just has to work too hard and take too many shots.

Griffin is a hoss and looks like the odds on #1 choice next spring.

take it anyway you like

You have said pretty much the same thing multiple times now, and there is no substance to it. Who is going to go higher? You don't know, and that's because as of right now Blake Griffin is the best NBA prospect in NCAABB

exactly and unless an overseas prospect surpasses him, he's going to be the top pick.

Griffin reminds me some of Michael Beasley.
He's an absolute beast. I was very, very impressed. And it'll work wonders if he keeps shooting free throws that well.

Curry wasn't even playing his best and put up 44. Davidson missed some threes and easy shots in the paint, but played a heck of a ballgame. (Not making excuses at all saying that they should've won)

It'll be interesting when App State plays Davidson.....

davidson should win. they're not as strong as last year, but few teams are as disciplined and well coached.

also, mods, apologies for not starting this thread in the NCAA forum. feel free to move it over.
