OT: the big fight tonight.

I posted my prediction in the Official thread but I'll re-post it here.

Connor comes out strong in rounds 1 & 2 while Mayweather retreats and tries to find his distance. Rounds 3 & 4, Mayweather finds his rhythm within these rounds and starts landing 2 & 3 punch combinations with a stinging lead right hand. Rounds 4 through 6, Mayweather continues to out box Connor and has him completely figured and starts landing at will. Round 7, Mayweather is really confident and completely punishes Connor in this round and shows why an amateur boxer should never fight someone of his caliber. Round 8, Connor's left eye has swollen shut and his corner realizes how much of a mis-match this is and has to pull Connor out of the fight before this round even begins. TKO Victory for Mayweather.

I hate Mayweather but this is just a spectacle and it won't even be close. I'll be pulling for McGregor to land that power shot in the first 2 rounds.

Fight Stats: Mayweather : McGregor

Jabs/Land/%: 132/71/54% : 98/15/16%
Power/Land/%: 228/151/68% : 112/13/12%
Total/Land/% 360/222/61% : 210/28/14%

C'mon man! Spoiler tag this stuff!!!

This is not a fight but rather a circus that won't be worth the price of admission.

This plus 100. Who's the promoter, Vince McMahon or PT Barnum? This is why I don't watch boxing anymore. Having said that, I'm taking the professional boxer over the carnival barker.

Fight is a joke and an insult to both sports. I love he UFC but CM has no shot tonight. If it were under UFC rules, that's a different story.

Mayweather easily. McGregor has a punchers chance to land a shot and shock the world. If it was the other way around and this was a CFA fight, I wouldn't even give Mayweather any chance of winning.

I wish I had put $100 on McGregor when the odds were 1500 to 1. Would have most likely been throwing it away, but it could have been a huge payout.

Nooe. Never had to. Not sure why he would want to add 20 pounds on to fight a true boxer anyways.

It's not about the weight he is able to put back on. It's about the weight he is able to cut. If his natural weight is closer to 170 and he can cut enough to make weight in a lower weight class, then he has an advantage against a naturally smaller opponent.

Having said that, Mayweather is going to toy with him and either put him to sleep or beat him senseless (which is not much of an accomplishment considering it's MacGregor).

Since it's an MMA fighter versus the worlds greatest boxer in a boxing match I pick Floyd. I guess after this fight they will rematch using MMA rules to rack in more millions.

There is a very slight chance Mcgregor wins, but it woukd not destroy Vegas. You gotta look at the other side,That means all the big money people put on Floyd goes to Vegas

But the odds dont equal. If McGregor wins, it will be the single largest loss in the history of Vegas. It wont destroy them, but they will take a huge hit.
