OSU coaches can't get

Yes they are. Served in the Marines with a guy from Dublin, Ohio and he was b*tching about illegal cleats. I loved every second of it.

Yep. Stranded in the great Suckeye swamp, living twenty minutes from the 'Shoe, I heard SO MUCH about cleat length for the last twenty damn years. It's ridiculous! My husband is an OSU alumni--for which I try to forgive him daily--but he's not a STUPID fan. He is a rarity up here. His father (also an alumni)is the CPA for a lot of the OSU AD, so we have a bit of a pipeline into department gossip and the huge local alumni fanbase.

All that being said, there has been a noticable decline in the level of class since subUrban was hired--one that I am hearing increasing discontent about within the fanbase around here. That's been exacerbated by Harbaugh getting hired at UM. SubUrban is running a little bit scared right now. He lost control of his team last season, managed to ruin the best QB corps in college football history through poor handling, and is watching two primary teams recruiting in Ohio with increasing concern. UM and us. Next year it's highly likely that OSU will get beat by Michigan forthe first timein donkey's years. Since subUrban lost almost all his mythical status from the 2014-15 CFPC, I am not surprised that his staff is projecting the growing concern in Columbus.

And I am enjoying every minute of it, waiting for the palpitations to begin...but then, I'm not a very nice person.

I'm not so nice either and there's something I've noticed about people like us. We tend to be happier people than the nice guys.
We have more joy. Not only do we enjoy our successes but we also enjoy when others fail.

I would love for the Vols to meet OSU in the playoffs next season. I don't think they will get past Michigan though

And there's just something so pleasant about watching subUrban fail. Just watching that little miasma of entitlement around him flame up like a methane explosion and knowing he has to endure the stink gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Let me know when that happens. Isn't he 50-4 since becoming OSU's coach?

You must have missed pretty much everything that happened after the Michigan State game til the bowl. That's okay. I try to avoid as much subUrban coverage as I can too.

Because let's be for real here--that MSU game was an epic fail, exacerbated by the pisspoor handling of the most talented QB corps I've ever seen. After the brilliant coaching job Meyer did in the face of injury hell in 2014-15, there's no way to call what happened with the QBs this year as anything other than a failure. Not everything is based upon a team's record, especially considering the fact that the OSU schedule resided in the bakery this year in between the cream puffs and the cupcakes.

I'll be honest, I must have missed what you're referring to. I remember a RB whining and threatening to go pro. Is that what you're talking about?

Mich. St. was the 2nd to last game of the season. They lost it, thus losing a chance for the playoffs. They came right back and stomped a mud-hole in Michigan & Notre Dame.

I'm not ready to send Ohio St. to the graveyard just yet. 2016 is a new season.

I don't need to try again. The notion that OSU and Urban were scared of playing Tennessee is laughable. After they cancelled the series with UT they signed home and home series with TCU, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Texas.

I don't see a SEC team on there. Maybe you don't know the history of how bad the SEC beats up on Ohio State. At one point, it was almost 10 in a row.
