LSU fans still won't let this go.
There is information other than from LSU fans saying Orgeron will go to LSU.
Bobby Hebert, longtime friend of Orgeron, stated tonight that he thinks Orgeron goes to LSU or stays with the Saints.
For those that don't know, Hebert is the former Saints QB who is now the major radio sports personality in New Orleans.

If the guy's best friend is reporting it you have to wonder. If O doesn't work out I hope CLK throws the bank at rodney garner.

Where does he see him fitting in at LSU? If Brooks and Caldwell both go...then where does LSU put Yaw Yaw?

The offer for Orgeron is as a DL coach / Assistant Head Coach. So, your question doesn't really make sense.
If Chavis is allowed to bring his own DL coach, it is because Orgeron has alreadt turned down the offer...not vice versa. To date, nobody has been able to report that Orgeron has turned down the offer. In fact, the guys with the info continue to say that it's LSU or the Saints.
Those guys aren't saying that because TN isn't a good job or anything like that...just that Orgeron has indicated that he wants to stay home.
Again, I'm not saying he's not going to TN...just trying to give you guys some info that you might not have.
On a side note, it kind of surprises me that you guys are so willing to turn over the DC position to Orgeron in the next few years. Not many fans would be willing to do that at LSU.

We wouldn't think Hebert is a bit biased, would we?There is information other than from LSU fans saying Orgeron will go to LSU.

I'm saying that the guy saying it will be the Saints or LSU must not realize what Chavis is most likely gonna do.
Stud is reporting that Cortez Kennedy, whom he claims to be good friends with, is also good friends with O (O coached him at Miami, I believe) says he will be a Vol. He said a few weeks ago that he wouldn't be, but now he says he is.
Like I've been saying, logically, it doesn't work out, at least him going to LSU.
I guess my point is that it's off base because Orgeron was offered the DL/AHC position over a week ago. So, unless he's turned it down and it's just being kept under wraps, Orgeron at LSU is still a possibility.
I think you are mistaken if you think Chavis will have control over that decision retroactively. I guess it is possible that Chavis insisted on this ahead of time and the news just hasn't filtered down yet.
But, the guy who usually knows this info...the same guy who reported the Chavis deal being done before anyone else, and who reported Miles staying at LSU when everyone else was saying he was going to Michigan, is saying that the offer is still on the table and it's just money haggling with the agent. He has not said it is a sure thing but continues to think it's either LSU or the Saints.
