There will be Fire Currie protest this Saturday at noon at Neyland Stadium gate 21.

Many of you have sent emails, letters and made calls to the University. Saturday will present an opportunity to put your face out front and help send another message . Bring the family.

Do you not see that the media is already dragging our fanbase and our university through the mud over our last protest (of only ~100 people, at that)? Let the BOT do their job, and don't contribute more to this debacle, you'll scare away any last coach that might be willing to try appeasing you people.

I hate Currie as much as the next guy or gal, but this has got to stop. I don't mean stop pushing for him to be gone. But we've gotta stop with the crybaby protests. We're a nationwide joke as it is, let's not add to the perception. Write letters, stop donating, place phone calls, but please no more picketing. We'll be lucky if a high school coach wants to come anywhere near this fanbase any time soon.

Disagree. All your examples won't get anything done. 10,000 people outside of the AD office will.

Please wait until Brohm is announced before creating another spectacle.
I don’t want to lose Brohm.

That's a fight for another day. Protest may stop a hire, but I'm not sure it would cause them to fire someone without proper cause. and being a dumb a$$ isn't proper cause. Nothing can be gained by protest at this point.

10,000 people? You will need to tell people there is a anti-Trump protest going on, tell others there is a pro-Trump rally going on, tell some more that BLM is coming, tell some others the KKK is marching, and tell them all Dolly will be singing the national anthem while Colin Kaepernick takes a knee if want 10k protestors.

It's time to move on. The biggest thing right now is recruiting. Don't need a bunch of drama and bad press.
Before posting or doing anything at all in your life between now and signing day - ask yourself "Is this good for Cade Mays?"

Add Davenport to the list to be fired!

Why not wait until after the new coach is in place and the early recruiting period is over.

Also, I hate to burst your bubble but the real reason the Schiano deal was shot down was because a lot of high money donors called and said they would not donate to the University any more if Schiano was hired. 200 broke college kids are just annoying. They really don't accomplish anything.

Yeah, but we've "got to show them" regardless of the consequences...right???

How about we hire a coach first.

Let's get a counter protest to protest the protest of the protesters. They could put up baracades and people could hold up signs, yelling across the street at each other. Press loves UT because they don't have to come up with craziness, it comes to them, gift wrapped with an orange bow.

Agree let the BOT do their job but will they. At this point we need to demonstrate unity, our loyalty and passion have never been questioned.

Agree...the protest is the last gasp nuclear option. Should only be used once a decade or so. We fired that shot Sunday (which I feel was exactly what we had to do), but we have to forgo its use for a long time going forward or it looses all effectiveness and actually works against us.

Take a deep breath, hope tje new boss isn't the same as the old boss. Say a prayer, get behind the new guy, and maybe we get a miracle.

Hopelessness and despair are killers. When you are surroumded by orcs in Minas Tirith, be Gandalf, not Denathor
