Lmao at Bumi.......very well stated. Dooley has no doubt watched the Stanford and Ohio State games. They will make Darron prove it just like we are going to make Simms prove it. Imo though the experience factor will help Darron more and make it easier on him.

Florida has more prototypical pro-style linemen. So, they implement more pro-style concepts from spread formations to open up inside runs.

Oregon focuses more on getting the ball out of the pocket quickly using lots of screens and short routes. This year, it looks like they're going to use a lot of triple option to get both James and Barner on the field at the same time, similar to how Florida used Percy Harvin.

Florida never ran the triple option with Percy. He spent most of his time in the slot, and lined up a few times at back. Along with Reggie Bush, and Adrian Peterson, he was the most explosive player in collegiate football last decade.

Furthermore, this is the first season since Meyer took over that Florida is implementing pro style concepts into their offense.

~ 1 portion Oregon ducks, Sliced and diced by Mighty Vols
~ 1 can wilcox whoop a--
~ 1/2- 1 inche rainwater
~ 1 Oku TD
~ 2 UO fumbles
~ seasoning salt
1 Jackson INT return
garlic powder
1 T.PooleTD
chopped carrots to taste
1 hunter TD
1 Rogers TD


Put all ingredients into Neyland Stadium. Stir together.

Cook on high heat for 3-4 hours.

Serve and enjoy.

Finally someone who actually has sense. Oregon has a similar style to Florida (and I don't remember us having a great track record against them lately) that I think will give us major problems. Any Tenn fan that isn't at least a little concerned is just stupid. Of course I hope and I believe we will win because I'm a FAN of UT but I'm not blind to the fact that we are program rebuilding. I also think Oregon fans need to also realize that we aren't going to be a NM, SurfDuck is right. Oregon's struggles against run first offense is well noted. Do I think it will be enough to overcome the #7 team in the nation? I hope so but if I'm honest, no- I think we'll fall short. But hey, it won't surprise me if we pull off an upset either. With us being at home anything can happen. GO VOLS!

The ducks should be just as fast as Florida on offense. Defense won't be close or as physical

Sorry. I wasn't clear. I was meaning that Oregon's use of Kenjon Barner is similar to Florida's use of Percy Harvin in that he will line up in the back-field and slot, motioning around, etc. sometimes with a second RB lined up.
