Oregon Receiver Quote

He girded himself in his battle suit.
Checked his gloves and donned his boots.
A grim look now shrouded his face.
He would be running but it was no race.
"Here quack, quack, here quack here!" said he.
As he raised a hatchet forged in the shape of the Power T.
He ignored the duck eggs, they were just kids.
So covered them in moss as future pillows for their heads.
Bypassed the duck hen for she was a mother.
Continued to hunt the boastful mallard father.
"Here quack, quack, here quack here!"
From the bush emerged the mallard, his face a smirking leer.
Chase now on, they ran here and they ran there.
Two blurred movements running everywhere.
My oh my, what a racket there was.
The riveted crowd was all a-buzz.
It was a heck of a show, it was but then;
It all came to an amazing end.
The runner having endured rain and fog.
Caught the duck and gave it to his dog.

It will be interesting to see their receivers laid out by our secondary.

It's plausible. We and our boys don't underestimate the level of talent UT has recruited at. We also respect your coaches, and venue alike.

However, Is your secondary not young'ns ?
Our Receiving corps is not incredible deep, AT STARTERS.
...But our starters are all very good. One couldn't claim that Jeff Maehl good very well be the best WR in the PAC.

YouTube some of his highlights. Truly an epic athlete, who has a penchant for being exactly where he needs to be in a big play. As a converted DB, He also covers and blocks exceptionally. The 2nd man, Lavasier Tueinei, has been good, but not epic throughout last season, but looks to be very improved. Good hands, good speed, and good reach. Aside from him, DJ Davis is i believe a 2nd year starter, 3rd year on the team. He's been good, but hasn't started to see as much play time until last season's midway.

Aside from them, We've got a great TE in David Paulson, who has exception football-intelligence, and usually completes his assignments flawlessly. Aside from him causing the DT pick against UNM.

Please let me know your thoughts on your Secondary.
i haven't read up much on them, but thought they were some of the n00bs on the team. Although i am sure they are likely highly recruited athletes.

I like to drink Orange Kool-aid with the rest of you. I have bled orange since i was 5, attended the University, and have been to a game every year since my freshman year in High School....but you all are stupid if you think this game is won in our secondary and their receivers. Waggner and Jackson have a great game................................

If Lamichael James is making it to the secondary where they have to be making all these big players we are going to lose. James led all BSC backs in yards per carry last year. Dude racked up almost 200 yards on USC, and finished the season with almost as much yardage as Hardesty and Brown combined. Kenjon had 225 all purpose yards in the Rose bowl. (And he is the punt returner)

Stop pretending like this is a walk in the park, this is the biggest test of our season. Even Bama wouldn't be much favored. Keep drinking the Kool-aid, but stop spiking it with whiskey. We can win this game, but none of it will be easy. It will be won in our offense and our linebackers....not our secondary.

We're reaching?? You are coming off a 72-0 win over NEW MEXICO... Start acting like it!! Instead you act like you just won the NC 72-0!! Seriously??? Nobody gives a sheet about Kenjon or LMJ, get over yourself, already!

It's New Mexico, yes. But when a guy scores 5 Touchdowns and racks up 200+ all purpose yards in a Quarter, it's notable. ESPECIALLY when that guy is the backup. I'd say the same thing if had been UT's second string guy hanging 35 points in 15 minutes on UTM.

And your acting as if Kenjon and LMJ have never played before. LMJ broke the all time freshmen rushing record last year. He led the nation in runs of over 20 yards. He ran for almost 1,600 yard over the course of just eleven games last year. The guy has some skills.

Oregon fans have every right to be excited about him returning to the field.
