Well after that Punt Return for a TD, I'm calling it quits for the night. Just a couple of my thoughts.

Positives:
- We have a hell of a Runningback.
- Defense looks OK. Get a couple more big time playmakers, we look pretty good.
- Alot of young, inexperienced playmakers that will mature later.

Negatives:
- Offense is terrible. Like they have been since '07.
- Special Teams sucks, again.
- Not enough speed on both sides of the ball.

Well thats it. Congrats Oregon, had a fun first half at least, lol. Goodluck to you all this year. Kill USC. :peace2:

Thanks.

Apologize in advance for any dumb ducks coming over here and crowing.

It looked an awful lot like Tenn might run Oregon out of the stadium for a quarter and a half.

I am very pleased with the poise of our new QB Darron Thomas. I felt he kept Oregon in the game in the first half by making a few plays and not forcing anything.

Ducks are for real and will win PAC Ten IMO. Playcalling in 2nd half did us in. I dont know why we got away from the running game.

We have no depth. And the positions where we have depth the guys quit. I am not mad as I expected us to get throttled but once you go in tied at half I had a glimmer of hope that pride could lead to something special. Unfortunately we ran into a vastly more talented and experienced team. We are low on both talent and experience. I however will never be ashamed to be a VOL!

Plain and simple. I read all the time but have never posted and after tonight will not read anymore. Art Evans misses an interception and all of the sudden he isnt sec caliber, Justin Hunter drops one pass and he will never be great. Seriously, what the he?? is wrong with you people. This boys are young, and way over matched. The played a good game and have much to improve on. Oregan won off of four big plays. A much more experienced team beat us, yet our guys show much promise for the future and just because a player misses one or two plays and you want to throw them under the bus. WTF
I know that I am new here, but FREAK- find a way to stop these stupid idiots from posting, you would have a much better website and conversation.
GO VOLS, the future looks very good for a young inexperienced well coached team.

Totally agree with your post. Our young team got beat by a more experienced and seasoned team tonight. If what I saw the first half is any indication of the futher, I'm lliking our chances. I can see us being a nasty team by seasons send. Our O-line in the first half was great. We have talent and a lot. It's just young.

Our youth showed when we got down quick in the third quarter. Simms looked like he was panicky in the backfield and playcalling didnt help.

I hope we keep learning as a unit and can get better.

Now on to the gators!

Vols, I am already scared for our repeat game in Eugene during 2012. You have an awesome coach and your team is going to be great.

This win is a really big deal for Oregon.

From everything I've heard, Oregon fans have been treated with respect and southern hospitality. I hope we return the favor in two years.

Good game.

Our youth and inexperience can only get better as time goes on. We looked pretty good in the first half. Remember, nobody gave us a chance to do anything at all. Let's get some more recruits, work on our mistakes and stay positive. We are going to have to take our lumps tonight and get ready for the rest of the season. GBO!

That's about what you can expect when your roster has virtually no Juniors and only a handful of Seniors. Oregon's starting roster is dominated by Juniors and Seniors.

Give our Freshman and Sophomores a couple years in this system and we'll have a dangerous team.

My opinion...
1) Team has too many yoots.
2) QB has no pocket presents.

I'll hang up and listen....yes sir.

congratulations to the ducks. Sorry our guys pretty much layed down for you and could have kept up the intensity. but their young I think our most experienced O lineman had 2 starts last year. Were proud of our guys. Poor tackling on that 75 yard run, bad pass picked and ran back 2 plays in about a 5 minute span we go from tied to down 14 to much inexperience to respond. Count on next year us returning the favor. Again congratulations, kill the blowjans. GBO!

Well our green clad former adversaries look to be the real bill....uh deal. Congrats and you know what to do to USC.

I'd bet $100 that you wouldn't beat us by 35 at home. Hope to return the favor in a couple years.

I think your guys are going to be alright going forward. It's pretty tough to come out and win with such a young team and a first year coach.

I still think you guys will have a pretty good season. And I'm sticking with my pick of you beating LSU on the road this year.

The youth/experience killed you guys. Good luck with the rest of the year.

:good!:

Hey, great game! Vols have a lot of good things to look forward to - the team handled the 1st half and made the 1st quarter their b**** with run after great run. That's what I expected from SEC football, and it was delivered. Ultimately a really good team (at least, I think so) with a lot of returning experience in both players and coaches, and a TON of depth, won over a young team who has been through three different head coaches over the last three years (Kiffin sucks). All the best for you in your conference this season, I think it will be a successful season for you.

I'll be on and off this board like I have been (haven't been told to leave yet, hah!), but I'll def. come say hi during Oregon v. USC week and talk Kiffin smack.

Congratulations, Ducks. You spanked the Vols good. Great team and obviously great halftime adjustments.

I'm never asking Zeus to send down the lightning again. He quit on me and raced off chasing after some Greek hoer.

I was at the game (my thoughts).

I know the team is young but I question the coaches and leadership. Losing yes. Falling apart...never should happen.

Oregon is pretty young as well. They are also pretty good!

I don't know much about the SEC and who you guys hate in your league...but we hate USC! Their coach seems to be a real a$$.

I have been to lots of stadiums around the country. Autzen is special. It doesn't have have 100,000 seats but I have never been in a stadium where have of those seats are worth it anyway.

Oregon is about 60,000 with 12, 000 planned in the near future. They are just finishing there $250,000,00 bball arena.

One thing amazing about the Great Northwest...ZERO HUMIDITY!

THANKS FOR THE VISIT!
