Doesn't that mean it would slow us down just as much???? I've never understood how rain slows down one team and not the other

Oregon is coming in with they hype of speed on their Def and Off. ... the Vols are more known over the years as pounding the ball which won't be affected as much ... and the game will be at 7 at night ... so I don't believe the heat will play as much a factor ...
That`s right everyone knows ducks float.:dance2:
it's 5 days before the game and you trust the weather man to get it right?

Saturday night so could this be more of an advantage for us, or for Oregon, or neither?
How much rain do you guys get in TN annually?
We pretty much live in perpetual rain for 8-9 months out of the year. Most of our starters are vets, and much of the 2-deep has lived in Oregon rain for at least the past year.
But rain definitely did not give the Ducks an advantage against almost-equally-rainy Cal in Berkely in 2008.
There were literally huge puddles in parts of the field, with heavy rain coming down, and Masoli had a lousy 'homecoming' to his previous home town.
