Looks like a very soft schedule for Christobal's first season. I'll be interested to see how the Ducks do this year. RB looks like the question mark position right now. Staying healthy will be critical to the season. Especially at QB and RB. Lots of great recruits coming in, the early soft schedule should allow some depth chart development.

Sept. 8 — Oregon vs. Portland State W 63-3

Sept. 15 — Oregon vs. San Jose State W 51-21

Sept. 22 — Oregon vs. Stanford W 31-27

Sept. 29 — Oregon at California W 38-21

Oct. 13 — Oregon vs. Washington L 35-41

why the loss to Arizona? New coach. not that great of a team, imo. does Arizona typically give the ducks issues?

These predictions are from another source, they just look pretty right to me. Yea, AZ has a new coach, they also have a very good offensive unit, excellent QB, RBs and O-line. Plus, 9 returning starters on defense. The game is at AZ, visiting team has the sunny side of the field and it's typically in the low to mid 80s at game time.

I do believe we will know much better how this game will turn out after a few games.

AZ QB is legit... i would watch out for UCLA though...

I really don't know much about Sumlin. Of course, Oregon's HC doesn't exactly HC experience. So it's a bit of a "wait and see" time right now. Granted I love the Oregon DC and he will keep us in a lot of games. New offense, new offensive coordinator, new primary RB. Definitely some questions on the Oregon side of the field.

LOL Pulman is never easy, especially later in the fall. First of all it takes a "week" to get that far from civilized society, second, there isn't a place for 50 miles flat enough to sit down a good glass of Pinot...…. :}

Wow. That is a soft schedule. Oregon normally plays at least one out of conference opponent from the Power 5 - not this year... and they don't draw USC either with Stanford, Washington and Arizona State at home.

that very good offensive unit and returning starters went 7-6 last year. thought Oregon was better than that, figured the prediction was based on guys Oregon was losing. I thought they (Oregon) had a good QB too.

low to mid 80s? sounds like late fall weather here, perfect for football.

yea originally they had A&M booked for this year. Some part of the deal let them out of it and they opted to play Clemson instead.

I don't know about predicting a win over Stanford. Other than that I pretty much agree. Are you guys staying with the Kelly/Helfrich offense, or are you switching?

I think Oregon goes 7-5 with losses to Stanford,California,Washington,Washington State and UCLA. I think it's possible that Oregon goes to the Las Vegas Bowl and plays Wyoming.

LOL, I don't have to "try" to mix wine with football, it comes easy to me.. By the way as much as I absolutely love my Oregon Pinot, you guys have some wonderful wines up in SE Washington.
