Well first I want to say that GO VOLS!!! Big win tonight, even though South Carolina did everything in the last 8 minutes but give us the game. All in all a win is a win, and anytime you gain a game in the SEC its huge. I thought I would post a thread because it seems things are starting to get back to normal in the land of college football.

First, maybe all the Jim Leavitt followers have fell off the bandwagon by his back to back losses by the powerhouse likes of Rutgers and UConn. Although UConn beating USF shouldnt havent anything to do with ordered being restored, but hey this is a crazy season. I will throw in Rutgers in this title as well because although they have a tremendous running back, lets face it thats all they got. Today they got flat out penetrated by a good West Virginia team.

Second, Kentucky....Those crazy cats have been fun to watch somewhat this season, but all in all I hate Kentucky for everything that it stands for. They have jumped up and clawed some opponents this year and had alot of people believing they were next best thing, but that was before they got CROOMD!!!

And, finally although it doesnt happen all that much. Spurr Dog came to Knoxville a loser and left a loser. Getting swept by the state of Tennessee in the same season for the first time ever maybe??? dunno someone give me the facts if you don't mind. Sorry this was so long, just thought I would get it off my chest. Congrats to my Vols....Althought it definately wasnt pretty a win...a win is a win. Rock On Rocky Top!!!!

Wonder where Vols423 is today??????

Until last week Spurrier had never lost to Vandy. That would make your 1st time sweep correct in years he has played both teams.

Well....I picked the Vols to win,but I was'nt confident about it at all. After last night, the way we were outplayed and outcoached during the second half, and well, I'm glad we won. But it was'nt a proud win at all.

VolfanMike,

Sure, this reminds me of exactly the powerhouse we were in the 1990's. The complete domination of nearly everyone and only losing a game or two. Exactly the same - order is restored. Give me a break. You have come to accept mediocrity in the name of being a good blind fan.
