Sigh. I don't know. She had some health issues last time I talked to him but I didn't get the impression it was life threatening. And it might not have been, you could be mistaken. I just don't know.

I'll see if i can get in touch with him.

In 2019 she had just gotten out of the hospital for bilateral pneumonia. I think they had moved or were moving. I'll see later if the email is current.

I'd like to think he would have contacted me if something this serious had happened, he has all my contact info and there's always here.

I know he and @LouderVol knew each other IRL too.

I always liked them. I also have not spoken to them in years.
It would be nice to know that it was coincidentally someone else my friend was speaking of and that they’re both doing well.

Me too my friend.
This sucks really badly for me. We had 5 dogs. The other 4 love Red and sort of tolerate me. Myke was my dude. Sat in the chair beside me at the outdoor table for dinner. In the floor beside me inside. If I went to the bathroom at night Myke went too. At 5:30 when I ran 5 miles, Myke ran 5 miles. If I did yoga on the porch Myke sat on the couch and looked at me as if to say “wtf are you doing?” My morning coffee has been with Myke for the last 9 years. I’ve lost something that can and will never be replaced.

I’m mad, I’m sad, and there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it.

But I know you understand all that. Thanks for listening. End rant.
