I’m not going to lie……

Anyone advising others to not challenge their beliefs and not study and then accusing others of only reading what they want is not only a fool but a hypocrite and it pisses me off.

I, on the other hand, believe you should challenge everything and trust nothing. You should take your beliefs and throw them in the fire, heat them up red hot and beat them with a sledgehammer. Again and again and again. Refined in the fire like silver….so to speak. That’s the only hope you have at finding truth and a solid unbroken belief system.

I’m really not that good at retirement.
I decided to avoid being bored I’d start a handyman service and charge high end hourly so I’d work part time and make it worth my time………

Well, at least you're making good money.

Had an accountant friend that wanted to retire and did the same thing. Just started charging an exorbitant rate figuring his clients would go elsewhere. Wrong! He kept raising his rates but as some old clients started to gradually leave, new clients, apparently believing higher rates meant better service, were pounding at his door. So he worked at the new, astronomical rates for a couple of years and disconnected his phone and retired.
