Saw him in concert two weeks ago.

Saw him in the '70s at UT, during the height of his fame. The concert followed a Vols gridiron victory, and he wore a Tennessee jersey.

Slice, some may join VN just to have another sports message board on which to talk smack and joust anonymously. I joined looking for comaradery with fellow UT alums and fans, folks I might enjoy meeting in person someday. I don't see my reason as cause for the former to dog me with abuse, lies, and despite. Still, it is what it is on VN. If and when my travels take me near your parts, I'd be pleased to meet you in person.

Its an interesting thing to me. Im in the ff, political forum, music forum and the endzone every day and I see people getting upset in every forum almost every day. I often see people commenting how stupid it is to take things personal on the internet. I see the same people saying those things get upset and take things personal.

Anyway, the things I find interesting is, if someone says they're not upset or they didn't take something personal, how do we really know if they are being honest or not? Sometimes "we" might think they are but they really aren't. I've seen you talking to Rex and thought you were upset, I didn't blame you for being upset btw, but maybe you weren't. Lol, you see what I mean?

I also wonder why its any more stupid than in real life? And who and what makes the decisions on what is "okay to get upset about on the internet"? Username said something about H, I wasn't here so I don't know what it was, but it was on the internet and obviously people got upset.

Anyway, not looking for answers and its not a big deal at all, most of the time I dont think about it, but I have been latley and just find it interesting.

Rex is special.
I called him out on being deceptive for a long time. But upset....naw he never upset me.
I ,like everyone, have emotions but I refuse to let message board bring me to anger.
If you see me posting I’m not upset. However if I start to feel aggravations I bail.
Luther aggravates me more than anyone. That’s why I don’t respond to him much. I used to think he was trolling but I’ve come to believe he’s just.....himself.

Luther doesn't bother me. Rex....dude. Lol, I'm not even involved and I get upset. I think though we all may define "upset" differently. What you see as upset I might not and vice versa. I don't get mad or offended or butthurt by Rex, but I want to smack him for at least just understanding. Lol, I don't really want to smack him, but you know what I mean.

Rex is just typical of the COC. My kids went to a COC school so I have heard everything he’s saying 100 times over. The only reason I challenged him as long as I did was to expose him to everyone else. Ultimately it’s up to each person to decide what they believe. So ultimately Rex was confusing enough to maybe force others to study for themselves


I see this as entertainment. I have enough real issues to worry about. I guess by upset I mean if it starts to make me mad. If I start feeling anything truly negative I go do something else.

It should be just entertainment.
The old crowd got too far up in each other’s business. People like newt, who posted earlier, has accused me of “turning my back on my friends” from the other place but the reality is one poster over there had my number and was in love with/ stalking another poster. This guy called me crying.....I mean boohooing......about her. Red and I have a business relationship with her. It’s stated to go beyond entertainment over there and spilling into real life so I bailed.
I still communicate via text with several people from there.
Like I said we’ve been threw some real **** here at sliceville. I’ll pass on the internet fake drama

On the other subject. I lasted about 2 days over there, I just had a bad feeling about it. I have no clue who you're talking about (guy and girl, I know Newt and know he's Tri) but I'm not surprised. Lol, that's just messed up.

I’ve done away with Facebook twitter pretty much all social media with the small exception of VN. And sometimes CoachT. Which is a small high school football board.
Living life drama free.


Most of those guys are really cool.
But real life can be a bitch.

For example Sparty’s wife is fighting cancer. I’ve not texted him in a bit and I hope he doesn’t mind me putting that out there but they can certainly use the extra prayers.
