I wonder who'll have to be diagnosed with breast cancer for the football team to play in pure pink on white unis... Honestly, it would be awesome if the Vols wore pink on white unis at Alabama and won! The pictures, the headlines, the reports, the donations which would pour in...

Yesterday, the tectonic plates of college football shifted. The visiting Volunteers of Tennessee eschewed their traditional colors and took to the field in pure pink on white to meet their hosts, the mighty Crimson Tide of Alabama. Though plainly outclassed by Alabama several times during the contest, Tennessee fought and scrapped to keep the game close. In the waning seconds, when the Crimson Tide seemed assured of yet another victory, Tennessee's quarterback heaved a desperate pass into the air which was caught in stride by the pink & white clad receiver streaking down the field. He slipped the tackle of the cornerback and carried the Alabama safety on his back the last couple of yards before falling into the endzone. With time expired, the point after sailed through the uprights, and the upset was official. The jubilation of the long sought victory was expressed in tears, as each and every player, coach, fan, and representative of the University of Tennessee spoke only of [cancer patient] and their desire for her victory over breast cancer. A poignant moment etched into history, young men, a football team dressed head to toe in pick & white for another's mortal fight with breast cancer.
