Orangeslice13, a blessing to those around him…..Again

Tell Red I said hi and I’m praying for the day when she is completely healed from that awful disease.

Thank you H! I don’t know if I will ever reach my normal again, but I keep trying! It’s like a hurricane came through and I’m in rebuilding mode. (No help from FEMA🤣)

I know you are sharing the recovery phase with me, so prayers you reach whatever your “normal” is.

I want to thank Slice for taking the time to keep up with my medical issues and relaying the information to my friends here in the Nation. You are a very kind man and a good friend.

You’re the first person to talk to me on VN and it was a welcome message.
You’re my friend and I love you.

Red just likes you.

So........
I’m working on signal Mountain. On the way to work traffic up the mountain is stopped because one lane is closed for repair. At a merge point a guy in a 2017 Silverado 4 door (I know this because I got his tag number) passed all the people waiting in line and pulled up next to me. He stated moving in on me. There was no gap for him to fit in. I’m not letting someone in who is acting like a dick. We move forward slowly and he’s getting closer. We’re running out of room and he’s getting closer. His front bumper is by my front tire. He is screaming at me. I’m not looking at him but the guys that work for me said “he’s losing his mind”. I’m not concerned because he’s in the lane that’s ending and I’m in line.
He punched the gas and side swiped my truck as hard as he could at 5 Miles an hour. I called 911 to explain there had been a collision in slow traffic leaving out that it was intentional on his part. They say to go to the top of the mountain and exchange insurance information and call in to schedule a police report. We get to the top. He passed me and gave me the finger as he sped away. I got his tag number and called the number I’d been given by 911.
They came and took the report and put out an APB on the guy for hit and run.

People are crazy. Why would you hit a 2008 f250 work truck with a 2017 crew cap nice truck? Then run away. All because you want to be 10 feet further up in stop and go traffic.

Crazy but I’m getting a new paint job on my truck thanks to his insurance company

I **** you not

Apparently, he had some place to go...in a hurry.

People like that pizz me OFF! Get in line and wait like the rest of us! DickNutz!

I had a woman do the exact same thing to me in a construction zone where the lane she was in ran out. She kept creeping towards my truck (I wasn’t going to let her in) until she was about 2 inches from my truck. I let her get in finally because I didn’t want to deal with the fender bender and honked my horn at her. She stuck her middle finger out the window and started cussing me out like I had done something wrong to her. The traffic was real slow and down to 2 lanes and when I would try to pass her she would move into the lane I moved into and drove real slow. When traffic opened up I got beside her and called her every name in the book and she got off at the next exit.

In 2001, I'm heading home from my first day on a new job. It had been a long one - ~12 hours. Our last meeting was in midtown Atlanta. So, I'm on the loop from the connector to I-85. I'm in the outside lane (leftmost). A Ford Excursion roars up onto me in the lane to my right, too fast to hold position in the tight turn. It just comes into my lane like I'm not there. I swerve to avoid collision, and my left from tire drops off the apron, throwing my car into the embankment on the opposite side of the drainage ditch. It spins around and lands back on the roadway, pointed in the proper direction. After running me off the road, the driver of the Ford just keeps going north on I-85. Some people...

My car was declared a total loss by my insurance company. I acquired the car which I still drive today.

I'm thinkin' it's time to get a newer one, something utilitarian...
