Sadly our new vanity won’t be built and too us for about 10-12 weeks so I’m not in a real big hurry anymore
Yeah, I’d forgotten how just one thing that’s delayed brings everything to a grinding halt, and that was before The Plague.

For us, it was the Floor Guy. Very unreliable, but he’s all we had. And everything backed up until he finally (sorta) finished.

It’s a wonder that people living through remodels don’t all wind up in detox by the end. Not to mention what the contractors go through.

You have to build temporary walls on both sides of the beam you’re replacing the cut out the old and lift the new into place.
But first you need a structural engineer report that says you can do it.
