Well done, especially the use of "happenstance" and "whilst," but it seems like it needs a "betwixt" and maybe even an "irregardlessly" in there somewhere.

Whilst the lot of you are making merry at my expense, betwixt your barbs, the unposted truth is that my character is unimpeachable. Though I joined VN looking to meet brothers and sisters in Orange, I will act to do so only when the interest is genuinely mutual and the opportunity agreeable to all engaged.
