Orangeslice13, a blessing to those around him…..Again

Great times coming for you, I have three grandchildren, one of them (the oldest) lives with me, has most of his life, will graduate from HS this year, and headed off to the Army this summer.

O that i could see 39 again..LOL

By the way, always great to see your post... these guys will eventually give up and stop attacking you..

well not completely :)
Small world, my grandson has lived with me and my wife all his life and is also a senior in High school.

Too young to be a granddaddy. :p
jk.. congrats, I was a relatively young granddaddy my own self (44).

I adopted her when she was 9. Wanted same last name as her brother. ( her bio dad is a pos loser) I've raised her since she was 5. Good kid. The boyfriend and her have been together since she was 17/18. She's 20.

I refuse to be called grandpa. What do you guys go by?

Granddaddy of course.

Yeah. Hopefully he'll do good but if not I will recommend the service. I'm an Army brat. My dad was a lifer helicopter pilot.

Tis a small world... my son has been in Coast guard for 14 yrs, (thus the Coastypop), he was in NY harbor during the attack during 911, and in New Orleans during Katrina. My dad was in WWII and landed at Normandy during first wave, then served rest of his time fighting with Patton.

Grandson has been in JROTC for four years in HS and has moved through ranks quickly... He plans on military first then college, unless he makes it a career like his Uncle

In WWII my dad was attached to the 3rd Army artillery division as an artillery spotter (now referred to as a forward observer) with Patton's troops. Afterward he went to the 11th Airborne in Alaska among other places.

We certainly have some common areas of life... Must be close to same age... I certainly wish you well :hi:
