I was wondering if someone could direct me to some images of when UT wore orange pants against Memphis in 1999. That game seems to slip my mind.

Tenn - Memphis - 1999 = My first game in Neyland.

And, I agree, those all orange jerseys look weird.

i agree, but pair those orange pants with the white away jersey like in the early 90's and they'd have an awesome away jersey. maybe not to wear all the time but occasionally. We are one of the few remaining teams that doesn't have any sort of alternate uniforms. we just have to home and away. Still I guess that is better than teams with so many combinations that they pretty much have a different uniform each time out.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I still love the orange pants with the white away jerseys. As a matter of fact, I still have a letter from Coach Fulmer sent in response to my letter to him requesting an occasional orange pants on away games. He said the team and coaching staff like the all white away uni's but would keep the suggestion under advisement. The all white uniforms have grown on me and I like them as well. By the way, Syracuse is playing on ESPN right now in all orange and it is 1,000x more obnoxious than our all orange...

I agree orange on orange isn't that great, but orange pants look cool with white jerseys though.

Holy Moses! you weren't even kidding. Those Syracuse uniforms are ROUGH!! It seems that their uniform design has changed a lot lately. I'm glad Tennessee isn't one of those teams that updates their uniforms every season to try and keep up with the "in" look. (I'm talking about you Miami).

i dont know seems like everytime they wear the orange pants lately, its not a good game or dont play well.

The 2000 memphis game I think they went orange pants and played crappy won 19-17. If I remember right they lost to somebody (cant think of who at the moment) where they should have won but played crappy and fulmer made a comment after they lost that they need to put them pants up.
