Orange Pants Today!!!!

Is this the Dooley custom dyed pants thread? If not please kindly redirect me...

Probably my favorite uniform.

Yeah. I mean it's pretty traditional, I recall seeing it regularly in the 80s. Sometimes under CPF. Last time I remember them was vs Oregon, and that feels like ages ago. We ought to be seeing them 1-2 times annually. IMO

Do you believe that the Orange britches are redeemed? That the curse is lifted?

Players obviously took some motivation from Pruitt loosening up and letting them do something a little different - however, those orange pants without the twin white stripes down the side make them look like some inner city middle school team. Sorry - but true. I'm glad the Butch uniform gimmicks are gone. I hated the checkerboard trim more than even the grey uniforms. But I wish they would put the twin piping back on the pants - white or orange - that is a classic Tennessee look going back to the 60's. I know Fulmer's best teams wore the all white pants, but even he finally went back to the stripes.

The Volunteers played effective in a winnable game that they won.

I need more of a sample size meaning 4 games or more instead of 1 game to see that this wasn't convenient timing and a fluke win using the all Orange Uniforms today.
I say convenient timing because the Volunteers played a less challenging team than Georgia the game after getting embarrassed by the UG Bulldogs.

Wear the orange pants for the next winnable game (South Carolina). Freeing them may be the key to “ending a curse”.

I can dream.

It was so nice to turn on the TV to see the all Orange today, should happen more often IMO, fans and players LOVE IT. Would have to look back to see, do we always ask the Visiting team to wear all white when we go all Orange?
