yeah, please no on the black. we really dont need to look stupid like Georgia did when they thought they would help them win rival games

I agree. the black jersey were a last minute thing last year and it really looked that way. If we do anything black, then we got to put a little more into the uniform then just a black jersey. They looked horrible with the orange/white pants and white/orange helmets.

They practically were. Thrown together last minute by a Knoxville apparel company. They weren't even Adidas jerseys.

I agree that if black ever makes another appearance it needs to be completely redone. I wouldn't mind seeing a new version, but they need to be of quality and not look like a last-minute hack job.

I say we plant some rice, flood the field, and throw out some decoys. If we wait patiently, they will circle and land to feed. When they do, we will blast them out of the sky with some #6 Hevi-shot from a 12 guage.

Athletics is wanting everyone to wear the 2010 Power Tee (All Your Might shirt) to the FL game. Portions of the proceeds for the shirt go back to a designated student organization that will be determined each year. This shirt is the start of a tradition and will most likely be worn to the 1st SEC home game each year.

Well, the regular jerseys we wear aren't exactly "adidas" jerseys, either. Nike, adidas, Under Armour and others don't actually manufacture jerseys in most sports, they farm them out to manufacturers that specialize in those things.

The "normal" adidas jerseys for Tennessee are manufactured by Ripon, the same company in Wisconsin that manufactures the majority of the on-field NFL jerseys for Reebok.

The black jerseys last season were made by SM Athletics in West Knoxville that has a contract to do embroidery and other work for adidas and Tennessee. They also do work for Nike and other manufacturers in addition to being one of the nation's leading suppliers of high school uniforms under their own name. They have manufactured uniforms for adidas in the past.

If they had a couple more day's notice, the black jerseys would have had sewn-on numbers, and that would have improved the look dramatically.

I like the all Orange unis. I would prefer we wear them against a Georgia, Alabama, or Florida though.

I seen a commercial about and orange out for the Florida game.
