I came back to town for a World Fairs visit the day after we had beaten Bama in 1982.....At the airport some of my friends met me there...They were still under the influence of the game victory and the spirits, and still celebrating...Even the airport workers were celebrating...

One of my pals was in joyful tears telling me how we had won...Beating Bama is a big deal! He is no longer with us, but he'll be cheering from Heaven...

I don’t see why it would be too much, we’ve worn gray helmets, gray jerseys, black jerseys, etc.

As many have said above, tons of fans wear tops like white or gray. This tells all to wear orange.
