Orange field

Don't think colored turf is allowed any longer.

It is. The NCAA declined to make it officially illegal. However there probably is an SEC rule that Tennessee would have to get approval from the league, and I'm guessing the league would say "Uhhhh...no".

Just pull up the grass and spray paint the dirt orange. It would be a vast improvement for Neyland's turf conditions.

I am stunned anyone likes this idea. I am by no means a traditionalist and scared of changes happening. Loved the gray uniforms, love the checkerboard sleeves, love the mountain sillouhette. This looks completely ridiculous. It makes the checkerboard end zones practically disappear and it would give me a headach if i had to stare at it for 3 hours trying to figure our what was going on. If our fans/player/students want something changed, surely to god they can come up with something better than this. It looks more like a high school field that's dead in the winter than it does the small mountain west conference schools were apparently trying to steal ideas from.

There's always a part of any crowd that will like something awful. Don't worry, it's not going to happen. Gray uniforms and all orange is about as crazy as this team will get.

There's no truth to it. Some guy posted that on Facebook. He had made some others with a white field. Idk how the rumor about it being against Bama started.

What's next ... A game at a racetrack

Sounds good on paper, but would never work, too many people would want to go, wouldnt be worth the head ache. If some how it would set a record of some sort, largest and loudest, it might have a chance.

Some Baffoon would want a race going while they were playing the game, your safe for now, but don't count the Orange Turf out yet, the Deputy is on the case.

Go Vols!

That's the most hideous field I've ever seen! Leave it the way it is.
