I'm no architect. But TBA has been transformed from one ugly bland looking place into an absolute palace. It looks so attractive now with the black seating, skyboxes, and LED lighting and displays.
And then there are those crooked Clemson colored awnings in the corners. They really need some sort of upgrade there.

The covers are necessary because the walkway has a higher ceiling that the other entrys.
The higher ceiling is there so equiptment and other vechicles may have access to the arena for non basketball events.
Being higher means the tunnel is exposed to more fans from the sides which are lower, thus the cover offers protection from everything.
The wrong shade of orange is simply an oversight that will be corrected sometime in the future.
