is it true that espn will televise the alabama spring game...i heard someone say they were. do you think they will televise ut's game as well?

It's true, and yes, it makes me want to puke. ESPN will not televise UT's game, no. It will be on dish, but it is unclear whether they will televise it live or there will be a delay.

Will the vol navy be in full force that day? That would really make the O&W game seem like a regular season game. Exciting!!

Last year we took up the entire bar. It is likely that OWH will be there early, so you can just come to the bar. Volfreak didn't make it last year.

We have found that reserving space is more hassle than it's worth... The bar area opens onto the deck, so there is plenty of space to fill out into...

As to this...

I wouldn't worry, this year figures to be bigger than last, and we pretty much were all VNers in there then... so if you listen to the conversations going on you'll find someone you know pretty quick...

I am off for four days starting with that Saturday, I wish I could go. It would be fun to meet everyone that showed up. I am taking my son to Gettysburg that weekend.

I'll be there early too (was the plan last year but got a little too intoxicated the night before) and I'll bring the "Hello, my name is _______" nametags so its a little easier... sound good?

Dang! That is a good deal!!! Hubby and I keep look at them. We flew to FL 4 times last year, but could never match the days they had available.

I'm really hoping the Pride of the Southland wouldn't be stupid enough to hold auditions on the day of the game, as auditions run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However, if that is in fact the case, I will have to get together with all you guys post game and get your reactions. I do know it's going to be a blast either way.

No worries. Pride is pretty busy that day, actually. While we do play for the game, we also are going through the process of finding our new Drum Major. So it'll be a jam-packed day.

I will be there :) I will b there at the bar. I will have pom poms. And this year I will be sure all the staff are informed of the nations gathering no one will be confused... That way if you come in and ask the hostess where we are she can say "The Bar" or if it's amazingly beautiful she can say "On The Deck" Closer to date there will be a Calhouns thread I am sure. 11 am, the day of the O&W game be at Calhouns, easy enough :boobies::huggy::toast:
