I am new to this site. I am thinking about taking a trip to knoxville for the spring game. I am looking for any info about this event. My son is crazy about ut football. I need info about $ of tickets, parking and the events that take place that day. Are we allowed to take the field before the game for autographs.

The Orange and White game is free. The game's on a Saturday so you could park in the Neyland garage or the staff parking lots around the stadium. I don't know about events that day. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to take the field, but players will probably signing autographs before and after the game.

I always thought you could get on the field prior to/after the game to get autographs but have no idea on the timing. I know I did it as a kid but It's been a few years since I've seen the O&W game.

A friend of mine that went last year said you can still get on the field prior to the game. I have seen in another thread that this occurs about 2 hours prior to kickoff (which is 2:30 p.m EST).

Sad is bilking your alma mater for over $2 million a year while delivering an undisciplined, mediocre product. Classless is having the audacity to ask for more money for that kind of performance.

No, sad is taking a completely unrelated thread and using it to post your drivel. The OP is asking for info to bring his son to the O&W game not about your views on CPF.

The starters will be off the field. Defense, Offense and Coaches will be behind the home fence. Have to line up to get autographs and picks with them, rest of the team is on the filed into groups of position(o-line, d-line etc). The dance team was there last year. and will take picks with you as well as take one of you in the endzone!

Its about 2 hours they rundown the time on the scoreboard.

The following info is from last year's game. Aside from the giveaway thing, I imagine all other information will be the same this year...
As a show of fan appreciation, admission to the game is free and festivities begin with a Vol Walk at 11:30 a.m. along the normal game-day route. At noon, Fans Day begins at the stadium. Fans Day includes autograph sessions with the football team members on the stadium field.

Entries to the stadium this year are gates 13, 20, 21 and 25. The first 7,500 fans through the gates receive a free fan pack(don't expect this) In the event of rain, autographs still are available underneath the grandstands through Gate 21A.

Neyland Stadium gates open at 11:45 a.m.

Is your son real fast? If so, send him to Gainesville to race against our receivers for a chance to win a scholarship!

I thought that was only open to students? Sounds like you just committed a recruiting violation if you are a donor. UF will have to disassociate you. No season tickets, no nothing.
