I usually don't care about uni specifics, but I've always wanted to see a Tennessee vs. Alabama game in Orange and Crimson. Now it can be done with out penalty.

Approved a request to allow teams, when approved by the conference office and agreed to by both teams, to wear colored jerseys as long as they are clearly contrasting in color. When agreement is unable to be reached, the visiting team shall wear white.

The problem here is that it must be approved by the conference. The SEC voted 9-1 to implement the requirement that the visiting team must wear white. The only dissention was made by UT. This is not likely to change for conference games.

when was the vote? the SEC has 12 teams so why was the vote only 9-1?

Actually the vote took place in 1971 after the proliferation of color TV. All ofthe traditional members of the conference voted for the road team to wear white.

I agree. That's one of the only good things associated with LSU.

I don't normally get that consumed in the fashion side of things, but if I would probably explode if we played Alabama with both teams wearing our colors. Orange vs Crimson is basically good vs evil.
