Opposing player you hated the most

I think the CB cheap shot was earlier in the 3rd when he pushed T Rob on a pass. The play that took him out wasn't a cheap shot.

Funny Pollack was the first name that I thought of. But I think I would have to add David Palmer (ALA) to that list also.

Terrance Cody by far.. when he ripped his helmet off after the blocked kick.. i wanted to kill myself.. I remember steve tannyhill said he hated rocky top..

Get your facts straight. I personally know Dont'a and his family. (I'm originally from Lewisburg, Marshall Co.) Fulmer told Dont'a he was too big to play lb. Then, he didn't offer until 2 days before NSD. Dont'a grew up a UT fan and dreamed of playing lb for us. Blame CPF and staff for this one

Stories like this make me sick... :banghead2:

Similar story with patrick willis from what I've heard.

I know the thread asked for players, but does anyone remember Gerry DiNardo, who coached Vanderbilt in the early 90's? I couldn't stand that guy. He drew the same groupie-ish fascination from the media that James Franklin currently receives.

+1. He had this goofy way of trying to rekindle the Vandy series. He never called UT by name and referred to us as "that school to the east". You know how that one turned out don't you? Out of coaching after failure at Vandy. Hopefully, the same fate awaits Franklin.

I recall the game Robinson was hurt. Seemed like he got hit on a high/low type of tackle, behind the line of scrimmage. Biscuit hit him on the high side and Curt Jarvis had him low. Very unfortunate play, but CB was just coming hard against a hot QB.

That is not my recollection. Tony's forward motion was stopped at the line of scrimmage. While one Bammer was holding him upright at the line, Bennett dove into his legs in a deliberate attempt to injure him ... and he did. Just another dirty play plain and simple.

True, but Robinson was really thin for a QB
