Here's the secret...he runs the ball, then he passes the ball, then he runs some more and then he passes. Then he scores a touchdown. If he can't score a touchdown and if he's close enough, he kicks a field goal. Other than that he punts, insightful I know.

I think by the time Bray is a senior, we will have a much more varied offense. We've probably seen about 50% of what Kiffin's offense can do.

I wouldn't say Monte was left with a "boatload" of talent. No one on the DL had ever really done anything other than Dan Williams (I don't think a gimpy Wes Brown counts). Only Rico McCoy had done anything of significance at linebacker. And obviously Eric Berry is fantastic, but who else in the secondary? Rogan has been inconsistently good in the past, but not great. I'd say Bama, LSU, and Florida all have more defensive talent. Monte has done a really good job, especially considering he's starting a true freshman at FS and has had to do so much shuffling with the linebackers.

I think a lot of people underestimate Rogan. He can cover almost anybody and can hit with the best of them. IMO he is a very solid corner.

This year, yes. That's partially due to his development. I wouldn't say this staff was left a great player in Rogan - they helped him become one. I think Rico McCoy, Dan Williams, and Chris Walker have all gotten a lot better under this staff, too.

It's called protecting a source....all you need to know is it's someone who had a need to watch the film....it was not said in a public setting.....Not gonna pretend it's my analysis, because although I already knew some things (Crompton reading half the field), there were some insights that I hadn't noticed before....

As for the talent, Will Overstreet said this week he believes there are 8 future NFL players on that defense...I think that's a little high, I'd say more like 5 or 6...tops.

My god. Kiffin has the same plan as about every Coach who has coached the game. That following sentence is akin to saying scoring in basketball is all about getting the ball in the hoop.

some rely on it more than others....all depends....coaches only have so much time to massage gameplans, and it's up to them what to stress, hone, etc.....

No, what Lane's doing isn't original -- the genius is figuring out how best to use the talent, what they can, can't do, to gain advantages.....

I think Lane Kiffin has done a ton with the offensive talent, and that gets overlooked because of his controversial statements...that offensive staff is excellent....

All you need to do is compare the numbers from last year to this year to see the areas that this team has made the MOST improvement with virtually the same talent level and sked

Here's the thing: You write what people tell you. It's not that hard to figure out....

ANd the coach said Monte is doing what he's supposed to do with it, which would be put one of the best defenses in the country on the field.

Does it matter if other coaches understand our offense? Heck does it matter if other teams know what play were going to run before we run it? If we out execute the other team and hit all of our assignments we will move the football consistently.
