Opinion on Peterman tonight?

Lol. This is hilarious but true.....

I went with my son and dad today. We were talking about Peterman on his first series. My dad swiftly said....."this just goes to show you that he needs to be down in this league competing on this lower level" (meaning a smaller division).

That pretty well summed it all up

No offense, but does dementia run in your family? One overthrown pass. He ran the ball well. If anyone should be playing in another league, it should be our right tackle...on JV at east bumble tucks high

On the drive that ended with the missed FG, it looked like we were lining up Scott 2 yrds behind Peterman and he was able to get a head of steam going before hitting the line. He actually picked up a few chunks of yardage. It even opened up the Play action on one of the subsequent throws. They went back to the delayed handoff read the next drive but it was good to see its actually in the arsenal. Maybe Ive missed it but that's the first I've seen that. Granted it was against a FCS team in a game that was in hand but still, good to see...

the pistol look. would work wonders with hurd and an H-back leading the way. would open up play action as well

What did Peterman do wrong? ....or is something wrong in the family genes?

I will say when he has confidence he can run a lot better then Worley, but Worley is better

Maryville could beat Chattanooga. No need to brag what he done against Chattanooga and don't even know if it was their 1st teamers.

Obviously a more mobile QB but he's extremely inaccurate. I do not see him EVER starting for UT unless Worley gets knocked out.

Other than one overthrow, exactly what did he do wrong?

He basically played against UTC's back up players.....

Come on people!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't have any kind of legitimate assessment after playing UTC, especially mop up time.........

Better but everybody should look better against UTC. He is a better runner than Worley but that is where his advantages begins and ends. He has an elongated throwing motion where he fully extends his arm backwards before he goes forward with it...like some little league baseball players. I am worried a DL is going to take it out of his hand.

How did Worley look as a true sophomore?

So the guy goes up against a stout UF defense last year, in the swamp and at Georgia this year and he has bad games.

Now he looks decent against a crappy opponent.

Why is it that you can only judge a guy on his bad performances?

Why is it that most on here said that Harris came in and played great (even though he was 2/4 for 14 yards and zero TDs) against us but we cannot give Peterman some credit?

Peterman looked pretty good tonight and I have to agree with the OP he's got a decent set of wheels on him for a backup QB. I can also say that at least Peterman CHOSE to run rather than running because he was FORCED to. I watched him gain 7 yards on his feet and then another 7 shortly after that in the same possession if I'm not mistaken. Sorry, but that's getting it done.

He held his own against UTC? Enough said. Hope Dobbs is ready next year or one of the incoming QB's. Peterman can't play in the SEC period.

And please explain how you know he can't play in the SEC? So are you saying there is no way for him to improve? If so, then provide the evidence that says he can't improve.

How did Worley look as a true sophomore?

Would love to see him make the same leap worley did from last year to this year..

We could really use a QB with some experience next year. We will have the tools everywhere else to compete for the east. QB is our only and biggest concern.

I think Dobbs will be ready to go next year ..He will be a redshirt sophomore with big game experience and ready to lead this team.

Worley has always looked better than Peterman .. and Peterman is a redshirt sophomore so he is a junior what worley was last year when he was starting and if worley would have stayed healthy we may have won a few more games
