Interesting... on this day (March 13, 1962), Lyman Lemnitzer presents a plan called Operation Northwoods, which was designed to stir up support domestically for a war with Cuba by staging false flag events against American citizens.

Lemnitzer approved the plans known as Operation Northwoods in 1962, a proposed plan to discredit the Castro regime and create support for military action against Cuba by staging false flag acts of terrorism and developing "a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington". Lemnitzer presented the plans to Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara on March 13, 1962. It is unclear how McNamara reacted, but three days later President John F. Kennedy told the general that there was no chance that the US would take military action against Cuba. Within a few months, after the refusal to endorse Operation Northwoods, Lemnitzer was denied another term as JCS chairman.

That document is exactly why we should all ask how much assistance did the 9/11 high jackers have from our government.

And probably the beginning of the end for JFK...the last president to buck the establishment..

Communism was the “hot” word then, just like “dictators” and “brutal regime” is today. Since JFK, media has been totally government owned, and is the biggest weapon in regime change practice. Our foreign policy is a cancer, with no boundaries, that will go to any length to get the desired results. Look no further than the present situation in Venezuela...

Not so sure about the whole “ JFK bucking the establishment “ thing .

I saw this the other day.

The fact our government would even consider doing something like this gives at least some level of credence to the 9/11 questioners.

I like how you posited this thought. I don't buy the demolition etc stuff at all but it is very much "conceivable" that special interests could have aided (or even conceived) the idea for 9/11.

Not remotely saying I've seen anything that would at this point convince that's the case but it's not entirely implausible.

Couldn’t even ? Who could ? He had so much dirt on everyone there was no covering Hoover. No make me believe that a president and his attorney general brother didn’t know what was going on in his own government or fighting the establishment . Knowing of , condoning killing a foreign leader ( even Castro ) is fighting the establishment .. it is the establishment .
