So from what I see here, Milton needs to be shot at dawn, hanged, dropped in a vat of boiling oil, and buried face down with rock salt strewn on the grave. Then Hooker should be skinned alive after his 1st incomplete pass. I’m just stunned that all of the QB experts posting here aren’t getting paid for their expertise!

I’m going to enjoy “Football Time in Tennessee”! Y’all want to be miserable, feel free, but don’t drag the rest of the us down with you.

This is a message board where fans post their opinions. Maybe you should have googled it before you came on here.

Not trying to start a new thread: Is there a Heupel Press Conference today?

Take Pitt. Vols lose by 10+. They'll stack the box to stop our RBs, and 1 completion in 3 quarters against a bad bowling green team doesn't bode well for dealing with that.
Perfect time to open the game with a play action in the seam for a TD.

I think the one stat that give me some hope is that UMass averaged 11.9 yrds per throw against Pitt. Maybe their secondary is softer than we think.

Opened as PK according to VegasInsider, line is up to 3.5
If it gets to 5, may play it. O/U is tempting for over as well.

I believe the vols should win too, the talent disparity should be the difference however Pickett>Milton no doubt about it. I am also definitely playing +5 and probably 3.5 I don’t think we lose by more than a fg if we do lose.

One thing is for sure. We will know a LOT more about this team after we square off against Pitt. BG was not something you could use as a measuring stick. All we have done so far is take a quick test drive around the block. Pitt will be taking it out on the Interstate and pushing the pedal for real.

One of those teams dominated the other this weekend, one didn’t.
Vols should win, but I’d have Milton on a very short leash.
I will say this, I think Heupel actually Will do that. Even with the concerning QB play, Milton never went rogue. He didn’t always execute but he played under control. That is promising after the JG House of Horrors

Who is your QB #2 for UT? Hooker or Bailey? If he pulled Milton, I think either can do it.

Hmmm tough question it seems that Bailey is the more polished passer but if you saw him last year his decision making was awful. I feel like against a less athletic team hooker would be my number 2. He played not terrible vs Pitt last year even tho they got destroyed.

Praaaaaise Jesus that we are the underdog! I hope we are the underdog for every game of the year. We have a long long long way to go before we might have a swagger in our step in Knoxville again, and seems like as soon as we do, some team out of the blue annihilates us. We have been in the basement for 20 years trying to claw our way out and we need this team to never forget that.

My 9 y.o. stepdaughter is less melodramatic than this. Condolences for feeling "dragged down" by anonymous strangers on the internet. That said, here's to enjoying the game on Saturday...go Vols!

Harrison Bailey comes in with 6 minutes to go in the game down 21-0 and we win 24-21. Book it.
