I’m a Yanks fan but I’m dialed in to the Giant radio broadcast. Jon Miller and Dave Flemming are a fantastic listen anyway, but I’m most curious to see what they have to say about the Vitello hire.

If I'm Vol brass, I am already assembling a return strategy for CTV. I have no idea whether he succeeds or fails here. But, I look at him like after leaving LSU. LSU had no place for him when he figured out where his home really was. In the event that that were to come to pass, then it would be the biggest bidding war In college baseball history.

Dominating Major League baseball is not the same as dominating collegiately because of recruiting versus drafting/signing rosters. If Tony starts having a bad record, you can rest assured that the phones are going to be lighting up from a lot of college baseball programs

JMO, but I would at least have a game plan.

Can’t be one foot out the door with your coach now and expect Elander to be successful

If & when he gets back to college baseball it’ll be at Arkansas unless circumstances dictate otherwise (Arkansas isn’t looking for a coach).

Tony is going to find out the hard way that the Vol fans he loved to snap at for being negative are nothing compared to what he’ll hear from fans in the professional ranks after a slow start. I’m sure some are already calling for him to be fired.

The giants have never been shutout in the first two games of the season. The Yankees have never shutout a team in the first two games. Do y’all know how long those franchises been around?? 😂
