Will there be a lot of tickets available on the street? My decision to go may come down to Thursday morning.

As hyped as this off season has been and this being the opener I'm guessing not. Probably can get a single or a pair in the upper deck for less than your rent though.

There will be tickets, but I will say this...unless weather comes into play, the home opener is almost always a tougher ticket than anyone expects.

(Now cue the grumbling about a Thursday night game)

I agree, i have tried the street numerous times for the home opener and had to pay more than i was expecting...However, i refuse to miss them running through the T, so i dont stay out as late as some people trying to get tickets

Yes there will be for this one simply due to Thursday night, I don't mean it will be a 20$ ticket, but there will be a lot out there. Already stub hub has lowers around 50$ each last I checked. Even sideline uppers for 40$.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you can find a ticket beforehand. When they changed the game to Thursday it screwed quite a few fans over. They either take 2 days vacation or sell. My single in QQ row 18 with cushion is for sale for $50. You can always email me tnsportsman20@yahoo.com if interested.

Ive never had a problem getting tickets on " the street "

If you wait till after the game has started you can really really get a deal. I dont like to do it because i like watching the pageantry of the pregame at the greatest stadium in the world.

Individual games tickets went on sale to donors earlier this week. Public sale starts Aug 9. Appears to be plenty of seats in upper deck currently

Here's what availability is for App State right now.

Face values are $35 and $55

Should be some avail due to Thurs game. I hope it's full but we have fans who come to the games from far & wide who probably can't take 2 days off work..I'm 20 miles away from campus so I'm ok with Thurs but feel bad for ATL MEM & other fans who aren't close. Don't do this again Hart!

Through UT's sports website they have a link to vividseats.com(i think that is the site) where you can get tickets. I'm debating on taking a long labor day weekend to go to the game. My wife, who cant get the time off work, says I shouldn't go alone(which more than likely would be the scenario) but I'm holding off until the tickets go on sale on the site to see what my options are before making that decision.

I grabbed 4 in Z11 for $80ea with parking pass. That was the cheapest lower section that has a view of the jumbotron. There were some in M for $50ish still on stubhub.

I paid $120ea in the same section for the opener 2 years ago.

Agree. I'm from up north and usually come down for 3-4 games a year. Had hotel rooms and everything for Appy State, but there's no way I can take that much time off work.

Why in the world would Tennessee do the Donor Appreciation Day during this game on a Thursday. Hope they don't order a ton of food.
