I just don't see UT behind UK. We will be better this year; they will have a hard time repeating last year's success, IMO. I also think UF will be much better than 11th overall in the SEC.

Bama, UGA in the Top 2...yes. A&M at #3? Okay, maybe. UK at #4? Does your company have mandatory drug testing? Arky, Ole Miss, UT, LSU? Scramble them in any order, and I'm okay with it. Auburn over Leach? Where'd you come up with that one? USCe at #12? I'd have them no lower than #5 in the East, but yeah...all things considered, #12 overall. As for Mizzou and Vandy, well...it is what it is. SEC West is still the better half of the conference. Bottom of the West is better than the bottom of the East.

I think it's Bama, UGA, TXAM/Ole Miss, UT, Arkansas/UF, LSU/UK, Miss. State, Auburn, USCe, Mizzou, Vandy.

I'm wrong a lot. Witness my less than spectacular results in the annual VN Pick 'em.

This should be a fun post to revisit in December, right?

I'm not buying the KY hype, either. They've pulled themselves out of the basement in what seems like it might be a sustainable way, sure. Good for them. But that only puts them in the middle tier of the East. We're beyond that. Hopefully for good. So the Wildcats can get snug in our wake.

It could be: Bama...UGa...A&M...Vols...Ole Miss...LSU...Arky...KY...the rest.

I'm not sure if we're slightly ahead of the Rebels, Tigers, and Hogs, or slightly behind them. It's all pretty close, I think.

Looking forward to seeing. Yes, please, let's circle back to this thread in a few months.

We're not there yet, but for the first time in too long, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is not the false hope of a pumped-up press conference; this is the real hope of seeing what CJH puts on the field.

I was wrong about Kiffin, Dooley, Jones, and Pruitt. I like Heupel, and statistically, I'm due for a win. Gotta get a high-speed defense to go with that hyper-speed offense. Do that, and we can send Saban into retirement and Kirby into rehab.

The new-look Volunteers. Show up ready to run your ass off for 60 minutes, kids. We play at a speed that would make a Cheetah puke.
