what do you think of Obama said that Americans should learn spanish, instead of immigrants learning english?

A public speech here in Cobb County yesterday. He did not say exactly that. But he did say that it is more important for our kids to learn foreign languages, than for people from other countries to learn English. He used French as an example...great choice

when i was in france the french were very surprised i didn't speak french. gee i can't imagine why i wouldnt' learn a language that i might only have use of for MAYBE 2 months out of my life.

If I'm going to live/work in another country you can bet I will as least be able to navigate in their language. If I was just traveling to visit then I may pick a few phrases. However, business is conducted in English in most countries so that should be our first concern (we aren't that good at it either).

Looks like we at least try:

Dream about your money before his taxes that is.
