This is College Football no games are "gimmes", that is the prob with teams/coaches/fans today.... Go into every game like it is the last!

They also only lost by 3 last year to OK State in Oklahoma. I know theyre good and not a gimme. They play 2-3 top tier teams a year. Troy Alum.

we will beat SC,GA,and take Bama to the very edge we can and will play in the sec championship game, Flordia will loose 3 this year!!! imo

We did it in 2009 against the NC Alabama team. They needed two blocked FGs to beat a Crompton led Vols team.

There is NO reason we can't be competitive in every game this year.

Let's see Alabama's defense is ranked 3rd nationally in points/ game allowed @ 4.7, 6th in total yds/ game allowed, 8th in rushing yds/game allowed, & 10th in pass yds/ game allowed. Not to mention we have a new defensive scheme and their 3rd string tailback would without a doubt be our startIng runnIng back if he played for us. I agree we should be competitive in most of our games this year and as much as it pains me to say thIs, if you are expecting us to hang right with a team like Alabama through four quarters you are just setting yourself up for disappointment.

0-11 against ranked teams is disappointing in itself. The last few years have been a disappointment.

No need in filling me in on all of Alabama's stats. As long as Saban is there, this is how they will be. I am just wanting competitiveness and not throwing in the towel as soon as the game starts shifting away from us. Again, I will point to 2009. Severely outmatched but the game was controlled to keep it within reach. The discrepancy in talent in 2009 was much more than now.

This no talent 2009 team you keep talking about had Eric Berry(KC Chiefs), Dan Williams (Arizona Cards), Montario Hardesty (Cleveland Browns), Tauren Poole (Panthers), Denarius Moore (Raiders), Luke Stocker (Tampa Bay), Morgan Scott (Baltimore Ravens)....need i go on. Seems like they had plenty of talent on the team to me.
