I did a connection test on my ps3 the other day for the heck of it & the download was 3.2 Mbps & upload was like 278 Kbps. Is that good lol. I've did a few more tests to see if it had changed & always get the same thing.

I was just curious. I don't have issues with lag or disconnects or anything.

I have the same with DSL (live way out), and have very few issues if any.

I was implying that it isn't silky smooth. Theres a difference between 20 down and 5 down when playing a game. You can tell the difference.

Mine takes about 7 hours for demos and cod map add ons. I tried getting a ethermet cable but that didn't work. Anyone know how to speed it up?

Surely there's a certain number as far as speed goes that's required for a smooth lag free game. Obviously you don't need a 20Mbps connection to achieve this. The other persons's connection as well as the server matter too. I think at some point there is no difference & whatever you have extra is pointless.
