“If I had it to do over I probably would have stayed,’’ O’Neill said. “If I was 57 instead of 37 I probably would have made a better decision.

“I think we did a good job when we were here. We did the right things. If I’d been more mature I would have stayed and gone through the parade and all that.’’

No no no! Good grief I couldn't stand the guy. He has a bigger and dirtier mouth than Kiffin. Every interview he does includes at least a cussword and he's very arrogant which he has no reason to be. I hope Bruce takes him to the woodshed

Have you ever heard Bruce on the sideline?

I would say in the profanity department they are equals.

maybe because the team he took over was in a less than ideal spot?

Yeah, you're right. I did like the fact that he had rarely bit his tongue and spoke his mind. How do you think he will fare long term with USC? I think he'll be pretty good.

i didn't like his style of coaching, pass the ball at least 6 times before you take a shot. very boring to watch and i don't think the players like it either. there were many times a player could have went to the basket but didn't because that would mean the end of his playing time. the teams he had under achieved.imo

Please. Coaches don't have to institute rules of that nature with teams that understand passing is fundamental to beating defenses.

Especially after Kevin ran off Wade's lazy asses. I remember it well. I also remember Pat and Phil both begging O'Neil to stay. He was SOOOOO pissed over the Victor deal. Great recruiter.
