One thing unacceptable about the game on Saturday...

I'm 100% with the OP. The breaks are crazy long. Injuries are part of it, but the game shouldn't take way longer than most NFL games. I think I going to record the first half of the Georgia game, and I'll probably still be live half way through the fourth without missing anything (other than sort of wishing we had a Sonic up here).

It's baffling to me that a few people in this thread don't understand this. Also include how long replay reviews take (which is absurd), and sometimes the refs huddle up for more than a minute to discuss a penalty.

A college football game is supposed to last 3 hours and 15 minutes, maybe 3 hours and 30 minutes at the most. This game, the clock hit 0:00 at 7:25pm ET. 3 hours and 55 minutes is ridiculously long for a game that ended in regulation.
You're this upset over 25 minutes.

Ive noticed the past few years, that the CBS 3:30 game runs a little longer than most other broadcast games.

This had been going on with CBS games for over a decade. This is not new as the OP suggested. College football games are longer than pros. The pros modify the rules to keep them in 3 hour time slots for the networks.
