One thing that's already different vs last year

There were a LOT of players that saw action. That is good for team morale as well as preparation for injuries, etc. I agree. That was important and a nice result.

Another thing I notice is how strong we were in the 2nd half. At the end of the 1st half, we caught a bad break, and last year's team probably would have folded. This team had a lot of composure and came out strong in the 2nd half.

Stopping their first drive after the half was critical, especially after losing the fumble at the goal line to close the first half. Showed mental toughness, something we were missing last year.

I think I saw a few blitzes late which is a welcome change. We didn't get rattled when NC State looked like they might turn things around.

Spot on observation. Last year you could feel the deflation right through the TV. I think Bray is becoming a leader on this team.
