One play does not win or lose games, Dormady had 3 picks

I'm wondering if he's holding the ball so long because the plays are too gimicky and take forever to develop. I don't think Dormady can thrive in this system (I think very few people could because it's a stupid system).

We would likely have won two more games last year if the defense had not been destroyed by injuries. The offense put enough points on the board all but the Bama game.

Yeah. That's a GIANT pile of ignorant BS.

The pick 6 went through MC's hands with Dormady throwing under pressure. The one on the goal line was CLEARLY the fault of Palmer. Go back and watch it. Dormady released the ball as he was supposed to BEFORE Palmer made his break. Instead of completing the route... he inexplicably turned up field.

Get Dormady some help and the O is going to be good. It is amazing how much better QD plays when receivers aren't screwing their routes up or dropping passes.

JG's one play... suggests he would have done WORSE under the pressure of that game. He couldn't even get a snap off.

Dormady threw the one to MC too high he had plenty of space from the defender playing off to make a good throw.

The one to Palmer he should have read and never thrown inthe first place, he should have thrown it out of the back of the endzone once the coverage broke inside. He was staring Palmer down on that play as well, in case you missed it, but i bet I'm still wrong right?

I agree.

That pass to Marquez was insanely high, I just watched the replay. Dormady deserves half the fault at minimum.

Dormady had two TD passes dropped.

He threw into coverage and had some passes that were lucky to not be picked.

He made one great decision on a keeper and a terrible one on another.

He had a beautiful throw to Wolf for a TD

He missed some guys breaking open on reads I saw.

He was wildly inconsistent no matter if you try to blame blockers, coaches or receivers.

I wouldn't fire him, but to me, he is on probabtion.

Completely Agree!!!

While staring down Palmer and throwing a pick, he had Johnson wide open in the back of the end zone for 6.

Actully in a one score game, one play can win our lose you the game.

Werent the 3 picks
1- a tipped pass?
2- inside the red zone where we should have been running the ball in the first place

Not excuses... FACTS. Of course you've ignored FACTS for weeks so it isn't surprising that you'd take this angle.

And... if... and... if... and if... Fact is that Palmer could have made a play if he'd just done his job. He didn't... but go ahead and blame Dormady for THAT play. Or else make "excuses" that a previous play would have made it different.

Did it go through his hands or not? Was Dormady getting hit as he threw it?

So since we're playing the "if" game... IF UT's OL had prevented the pressure then maybe the ball is on target for a first down.

But for the football geniuses like you... it is much easier just to blame the QB. Of course if JG were the QB... I'd be saying the same things. The difference is that you'd be agreeing with me.

If the WR's played as well as Dormady in this game... UT wins. If the kickers hadn't blown 3 FG's... UT wins.

But... by all means continue your narrative that everything is Dormady's fault. He probably prevented the DB's from making a play on that last pass too, huh?

Yeah. He did. He made some bad throws. He played under extreme pressure. He didn't get the help he needed from the WR's. He was part of a team that lost... to say that Dormady's play lost the game however is just flat out ignoring what just happened.

BS. Take away JUST those two bad plays by WR's and UT wins without the drama.

Well yes it did go through his hands because of the incredible vertical leap of Callaways. Same pass to Josh Smith and he doesn't lay a hand on it.

I agree with you we are a 6 - 6 team at best. But we will not beat kentucky though. We have a slight chance. .but that game will favor kentucky for sure..its their game to lose.

I think Kentucky has a good chance to beat Florida this week. Our big game is now Georgia because when we lose there the wheels start coming off the wagon.

I dont blame the qb...i blame the head coach for not making the changes on the field at the exact time they need to be done..it seems like an endless cycle..we are always more than not getting out coached...talent is not the issue..nor blaming certain players. Butch jones put the players on the field same as he can take one off the field. If he cant learn from all his mistakes he has made now going on 5 years than i hate to say it but tennessee football is going to be average at best..nothing more..maybe below average..because we have below average coaching staff..wish our athletic director had a pair...and did what it takes now to get the program winning again or at least in the right direction..clearly they dont care at all about winning...they are making that statement by keeping jones here!!! Pathedic

You are right!!!!! We will lose to ga. Not being negative jyst stating the facts..kentucky is on the rise..so is vanderbilt..

Does anyone find it odd that programs with less talent in the sec east are winning and the vols are just standing still? Maybe even taking steps back? You think this has to do with the coaching? PROBABLY!!!

Just heard today that Callaway ran the wrong route, causing a double clutch from Dormady. Callaway even saying that. So, there's that.

So it's Callaways fault for having a better vertical than Smith?

I think its Callaway's fault for messing the route up. And that came straight from Callaway's mouth.

However, QD and Callaway share the blame equally for that pick 6.

3 INTs one for a pick 6 DOES lose games, sit Dormady, play the underclassman at the QB position and play for the future. We're at best an 8-4 team at this point play Guarantano for the future.

1st and goal TWICE and 6 straight passes DOES lose games.

This is on CBJ.

It was a joke.

Had it been Smith the ball would have hit a mullet in the 3rd row.
