One page of posts. Beloved Grizzlies.

my favorite all-time rivals post now is "Everyone that knows football knows that if there was a playoff system that didnt favor the powers schools the way the FBS does........the SEC would rarely see a championship of any kind, so you VOl Nation fans can totally relate because the last time UT was relevant was in the 90s."

hmm...well i watch a lot of football and my guess is that in a real playoff system with the actual best 16 teams in the country year in year out the SEC would win even more than they do know b/c in most years they would have 6-8 schools in the playoff - but apparently what I should have known is that he SEC would obviously fall off b/c apparently they can't beat the good teams in other conferences - who knew?

The best line is when he said u sound like u cone from the south.

Montana is such a breeding ground for diversity.

I would love love love to sit next to alphagriz for this game. just sayin, i dont know if i would watch the game or watch his reaction to it.

I liked the part about Iowa only being up 17-7 after the third, before laying it on. Oh, also liked the comparison to UT-Martin--see 2010 scoreboard.

where that poster fails even further is that even in the FCS playoff system where the playoffs are held at a home field until the final game, home field is based on finances. (see page 7)

those "power schools" are also the same schools that have the biggest stadiums thus the most revenue. If Boise State was #1 seed and Michigan was #16, which stadium would the NCAA rather have the game? The 45,000 seat BSU stadium or the 110,000 seat Michigan?

either way, the "power schools" will get home field advantage and continue to dominate

What is pathetic about rooting for an FCS team? You sound pretty pathetic just my making such a comment. I for one am proud to be a Griz fan. And I love living here too. It's a beautiful place to live. Sure it's not for everybody but we that live here enjoy it very much and prefer that people with your opinion about our football program stay away from it. Trust me when I say that every Griz fan has an FCS school that they follow very closely. But we support our local University of Montana with everything we have. i for one am not ashamed of that. Have a nice life

You guys have a great program and if I lived in Montana, I'd proudly follow them too.

You love your team the same way we love ours. Unfortunately every program, FBS and FCS, has idiot fans. You do live in beautiful place, and I'm glad to hear that you enjoy it. Ignore the morons spewing mindless nonsense, and good luck come game time.

If you went to a FCS school, or live in a state where the biggest program is FCS, how would it be pathetic to follow them?

Have a daughter at Montana and she loves it! She's very outdoorsy, hiking, flyfishing, camping and skiing 15 minutes from campus. There's a reason why there's 3,500 colleges in America, each student has different wants and needs.

I think its great that she wanted to strike out on her own instead of automatically going to her parent's school.

She also cheers for the Vols and thinks we're going to kill the Griz.

Hopefully you can get this link. I'm not very good with computers but here goes it. This is Jordan Canada RB for us. We have yet to see him play ourselves since he was redshirted last year. Don't quote me but if I remember reading right he was being recruited by basically every Pac 12 school and something happened his senior year and he didn't play ball so the Griz scooped him up. Maybe just me but his highlights are impressive.

Didn't play his senior year due to injury. No pac10 offers. Fast enough definitely but too small to get serious pac10 looks.

Well KCVol14 I'm sincerely glad she enjoys it up in our parts and appreciate your comments KCVol and glhal2814 and the rest of your good fans. Hope its a good game for atleast a little while and hope neither suffers any serious injuries.

Alpha is a POS. Anyone who brags about driving drunk is a certified d-bag. Please don't view him as a reflection of our entire fan base.

The classy Montana fans will be around after the game to offer their congrats...talk about their good plays...and take their ribbing.

The trolls, we will probably not see, or hear from, again.

Thus, by their absence, the trolls will be known to us, and to all.

At which point, it is entirely permissible to go to Griz fan blogs...track them down...and ensure that they eat their crow sandwich...in full view of their own peers. Copy and paste is always a nice tool to use.

I'm just sayin'...

Go Vols.
