When asked how he would change some things, as far as his coaching habits/tendencies are concerned, he mentioned having more periods of ones going against ones. Can we afford that at this point? I mean, a lot of our ones are twos and threes; we're still banged up pretty good.

A little too late in the season to be doing that, no?

Feels like it's all we got left. 😔

LOL...just venting, not at you...at Jones..I watched the presser twice...and both times I was slack jawed half way thru..

...his double speak is code for "I dont know what the f*** I am doing"

You need to stop watching any coaches pressers then because they all say that and sound that way.

You've answered your question.

Now think about the fact that The Head Coach is even entertaining that thought process...

He is WOEFULLY out of his depth.

The statements I enjoyed in his press conference. "He believes in his system" and "nothing needs to change except how they practice". Go ahead coach stick your head in the sand. Everything is fine.

didn't see it...did he get all red faced...:)
if not, he's probably relieved some...he hates those things...especially now...:)

GO VOLS!

It can't be true, we don't have enough 1's to go against 1's.

This was his point. Because of the injuries practices have been versus scout teams instead of ones on ones and ones on twos.

Basically, we've been trying to recover and lost an energy and edge due to the lack of physicality in his mind.

He's to stubborn for his own good and in the end it will cost him his job. In the SEC you adapt or you die.

We have no way to go but UP at this point.

no doubt, right...it seems hard for some people to understand just how many injuries we have had this year and the overall effect it's had...it changes everything...and, possibly disruptions in the locker room...and, as always...

GO VOLS...GAMES TO BE PLAYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does his system also say " My QB can't hit the broad side of a barn but I'm not going to let him rum because he might get hurt"? Butch wants to live or die with Dobbs, so be it! If we lose 1 or 2 of the remaining games, yes, I'd say fire the coach; no reason not to. At this point, the only game I'm confident in is TN Tech. And, I certainly wouldn't be betting on it. Sad to say, the coach(es) have blown this season, no two ways about it; just like last year.:cray::cray::cray::cray::mad::mad::mad:

The ones vs ones is actually just checkers in the hospital

The team doesn't look like they've ever practiced together The timing is way off between Dobbs and the receivers on most routes

I have said all year, that the team last year worked their ass off in spring and fall practice trying to get on top of the mountain, and we had some players hurt along the way. this year I think the attitude was to not get anyone hurt cause we were on top. most of our stars took the spring and fall off and it showed, Probably led to some of the injuries because of the lack of physicality in practice where it is at least controlled.
