It was just odd, especially with what was at stake. There was nobody within 20 yards of the SC players repeatedly, huge spaces for them to run and gain yardage. They were moving the ball on us as if we were a cupcake. I get our defense isn't very good, but even this performance was anomalously bad.
Maybe this is a locker room issue, possibly related to Banks. Who knows. What I do know however is that if this Tennessee team shows up against Vandy, they'll do the same thing to us as SC.
At a 10000ft level, the program is still heading in the right direction though, and I don't think the sky is falling yet. With that said, something needs to change on the defensive side of the ball.
