One of the biggest positives from today...

A positive for me was seeing the tight ends being used as receivers and not just for blocking.

Positive for me was JG’s play. He threw the ball very well today, got rid of the ball on time for the overwhelming majority of the day. He continued to show he’s an accurate passer, threw some very nice passes today.

Agreed. Not to mention the offense was 3 for 3 inside red zone today. That's the kind of efficiency that will win ball games this fall.

It sure is hard to judge a lot when they are not allowed to real hit. It makes them slow to the ball and pull up a step short. I thought JG looked pretty good on most of his throws but would still like to see the ball come out sooner and not be quite so much behind receivers. The offense looked better than I expected. Any one have a crowd count?
McBride didn't show up at all. So many incomplete passes.

Was there the whole game, certainly didn’t look half full to me. 45k would be about right.

Lower bowl was almost full. If you had filled in the blocked off section on the west sideline ( for recruits) with people from upper deck , the lower bowl would have been completely full. I say there were 55-60k legit.

Wait, UGA was packed after coming off a NC game appearance? Who’d a thunk it.

What's the Point? VOLS used to never be Fair Weather Fans. A New HC, seemingly doing everything right, deserved More Support; IMO. Tennessee has more right to be excited; considering where we've been.

I did see Austin Pope with an apparent ankle injury on one of the goal line plays. Not sure how serious or if he played again.

playing and not having any serious injuries was what I was most concerned about...seems we may have lucked out overall...

GO VOLS!

He had to unload the ball too many times because he the line hardly gave him time to throw.

JG consistently got to the last step of his drops and delivered the ball quickly, on time, and accurately. McBride did none of those things, which is why he’s essentially already 3rd string before Chryst even gets on campus.
