I realize everyone is upset and disappointed but one game does not make a season. If the Vols win the next 3 games, very few people will be talking about Georgia State. Yes we were soft and unmotivated but now the coaches know what they need to work on. I expect a different looking team next week. Fans will be backing off the ledge until the next loss.

I don't trust Pruitt or his staff to be able to get them ready for BYU or turn things around

The same team that got their asses whipped by Mizzou and Vandy is the same team that was on the field yesterday. Pruitt had 8 months to fix things. He did nothing. Zero tangible evidence of any improvement. In fact, regression seems to be what is happening. The defense is worse and elite JG had two turnovers and luckily escaped a second INT.

The fixes Tennessee needs cannot and will not be addressed in 6 days..

Did you really believe that defense can stop anyone? Do you have confidence in JG against a SEC foe?

This is the same Defense and the same QB we have watched the last few years.
Maybe when JG is a senior and not taking so many classes his head will be in the right place. The one class he has this fall might be getting to him..

I expect nothing from this team.

They clearly don’t give a damn so why should we?

How do you see this team winning any games? We just got embarrassed by the PunchOut equivalent of Glass Joe.

Many have said they will be out hunting, fishing or spending time with their family. How will they ever know when we start winning again?

I wonder how many players would enter the transfer portal if Jeremy Pruitt was canned in December?

I agree it’s one game, but they either made a high school level rookie mistake or the team is just a bunch of quitters. You cannot be that underprepared and then proceed to accept the fate in the 3rd quarter. Nobody on the field or the sideline did anything to prevent an easily preventable disaster. The SEC teams are going to take this teams soul if yesterday was any indication of progress under Pruitt.

They look like they don't have a soul yesterday they seemed like zombies with Tennessee uniforms on

DL looks very slow and unathletic. OL looks like a bigger version of marshmallows from LY. QB isn’t real good but the worst thing yesterday was the “nations best staff” was terrible. Dumb play calls, poorly executed substitution packages, lack of urgency from coaches trickled down to players. Knoxville, we’ve got another problem.

One game doesn't make a season, but he's coaching for his job now. If he is interested in keeping his job he need to stop looking like the kid in kindergarten that sits in the corner and eats his glue every day.

If there's a slight chance another qb can bring some spark then put him in there.

OMG, settle on a starting o line and leave them in there.

WRs and DWA are strengths. Maybe trying some passing plays directed at them.

Do something...anything to keep this atrocious D off the field as much as possible.

In other words, coach your team and run your program. You're not a rookie HC anymore.

I agree with OP. Yesterday was a disaster. Granted. But, hey, we've seen crappiness like this before. Remember, last year's team won 5 games and upset KY and AU...

Pruitt and company just got the biggest cold-water dunk in the history of TN football.

But, it ain't over. Far from it.

I'm still thinking we win 7 games this year.

We've had enough of these already, you pumpers need to piss on off until one of these supposed wins you keep talking about happens.
You are so pissed, you are just looking for a post to jump on. Nothing in the OP screams pumper; he's just trying to stay positive. You might want to go for a walk.

Fond memories of going to the pageantry of UT's opening games in the 90s. It was beautiful.

Today, it is a complete s..t-show. I'm not sure UT will ever recover. We're into our 2nd decade of dreadful.

One game might not make a season but surely can put one in the dumpster!
