Win out? I'll bet anybody here whatever they want to bet that we won't win out. Hell, I'm not sure we can beat
Georgia
Bammer

Both of these deal with winning out, BIG IF...

Fulmer would not retire if we were to win out.

We would be higher than 15 if we won out with our only two losses being to two teams in the Top 10.

I would certainly not bet we win out or lose only 1 more, but at the same time I think our chances of finishing out with only 1 more loss is better than most of you would think.

So do we beat Kentucky or Alabama on the road? I don't see us beating both.

I have watched both Alabama games. They have certainly not impressed me enough to say that we are not completely capable of beating them. And, UK game will be a complete shootout. They wont stop us as much as we wont stop them. In the end, its very possible for them to remember they are UK and blow it in the end. It will probably be a close toss up game. I think we can at least split those two roads games if not win both.

If Fulmer wins out we will be in a BCS bowl and he will get a raise and you will have to wait another 4-5 cycle before anyone remotely agrees with you.

Yes.

And after we lose to Georgia, you'll say "when Fulmer wins out and goes 10-3 you'll have to wait another 4 years to criticize him."

And then we'll lose to SC and you'll say, "we're young. You can't expect to win in the SEC starting a freshman at CB."

Then we'll lose to Arkansas and you'll say, "in 2008 Fulmer will go undefeated and win the national championship, and then what will you say?"

And then we'll lose to FL next year and you'll say, "Wait until we win out and play in a BCS bowl."

Some of us are tired of "waiting to win the NEXT game." We'd like to have won a couple in REALITY.

I was simply talking about this year we where 1-2 going into the ballgame last night, so anything that gets us back into the win column is good to me.

I agree with you...any win is a good win no matter who it is against! If we had lost to ASU, some of the people on here would be saying "oh, we should have beat them by at least 3 touchdowns".

I didn't say we would win out, CB did. I said if what he said happened we would get into a BCS bowl and it would be another 4-5 years before anyone would remotely agree with CB's comments about firing Fulmer.

See this is the crap I hate to see. I'm ready for new blood as much as anyone else, but We just got a big win(at this point any win is a big win) and you come on here and start all this negativity. Save it for when we lose a game. I don't want to hear crap about Fire Fulmer after a freaking win.

Big Win???? Over Arkansas State??? Big Win??? Way too much cool-aide. Listen I used to live by Phil's mother and even talked with him on my back deck several years ago. He is a good man and has done good things for the University, but some don't know when to quit. It is time for Phil to go.

Would you rather we had lost?

Of course not, BUT can't you see the program is in a decline? What is giving you hope that most others including myself don't have? The stats have been posted all over the place. This gentleman is being paid ~2 million a year and results are a must.

Because I'm optimistic, and yes, I have hope....HOPE that we win the rest of our games, AND I'm not giving up on this team yet either, whereas it looks like the majority of people on here already have. I just hope our team doesn't feel the way most of the people on here do, or else we WILL lose the rest of our games.
