One better than Fulmer

...if he can't see the difference in this program from last year to now, then he is either blind or just wants to argue.

Lane and his All-Star staff might end up One better then Fulmer...with basically the same team.

Best case is 2 better

And allowed the most rushing yards on the Vols in History
Damn. Someone better call Phil and ask if he would be willing to come back with a nice raise in pay.

It will be so nice when some school is desperate enough to hire Phil. The new University of Fulmer can then claim their idiots from here and take them to their new home.

Don't forget they didn't get butt pounded by Bama and the Gators and I bet Kiffen didn't spend all week with his "pucker factor" and a bottle of Maalox trying to calm his irritable bowel flare up because they were next on the schedule. Had the cupboard not been so anorexically thin....Kate Moss thin....at LB and DL then I think the rushing record wouldn't have occurred.
Also, don't forget they went from 105th in the nation in total offense up to where they are now....with the same team......but hey....the Vols are only a play or two away from being undefeated if we use Fulmer's logic.

If you love Fulmer so much then become a fan of Lane College because that will be his only coaching option come next season.....

At 38 posts per month that would give him 1.2 posts per day. The question is, who is leaving the door open to the padded room each day.

Where is 1 game difference coming from? The Vols were 3-7 at this point last season and coming off a loss to Wyoming. The loss to Wyoming is the biggest difference in the 2 seasons.... because Wyoming may be the worst team the Vols have EVER lost to.

I don't know man, that loss in '96 to Memphis with Manning at qb when ranked in the top ten was pretty bad. Who coached that gem? Oh yeah, nevermind.

I can sum up the talent of the current coaching staff in two words...Jonathan Crompton.

When CLK was putting his staff together, I knew they could recruit. I told everyone who'd listen that if they could coach a lick then Tennessee was headed back.

Tennessee is headed back!

do we need to beat wyoming to show you were a better team, how bout the fact that crompton has thrown for over 20 td this yr. You should keep loving fulmer and whenever he decides to coach again, go be a fan of that team as we don't need your half support here. v/b

Got to admit....he's speaking the truth......

Uhhhh....No.

Lane and his All-Star staff might end up One better then Fulmer...with basically the same team. - Correction. winning the last two would put them with a chance to go 3 up on Phil...5-7 last year, as opposed to the possibility of 8-5 (bowl game) this year. And give the team 3 extra weeks of practice.

So no, he's actually not speaking the truth.

Aren't we having fun? :neener2:

It's just pointless... Those of us who wanted to turn a new page in the program's history got our wish... Leave the wallowing in misery to the folks who do it best..... Wait... that would actually be Bama fans.... Leave the whining & pining to the folks who just can't let the big guy go....

But can't we make their pining for Phil look sad and pathetic like it is?

This is the best team I have seen play in a couple of years. And CLK did it with the hand he was given. :gone::run:
